Cubicle Fugitive and Photographer Ian Brown win a prestigious 2011 Applied Arts Photography Award

Jun 15, 2011

Cubicle Fugitive Inc. was hired on this past year to refresh the brand and corporate identity of a major Canadian Infrastructure Company. Although the company has been around for almost 50 years and enjoys an excellent reputation within their industry, their current look was not reflective of their scope or quality of work. As part of this project and working with Toronto Photographer Ian Brown, Cubicle Fugitive Art Directed a series of stylistic images to document this company’s process, products and installations. One these images photographed by Ian Brown of an underground tunnel installation, recently won a prestigious Applied Arts Photography Award, recognizing creative excellence.

“Cubicle Fugitive was honoured to be part of this process and work with such an amazing client and Photographer like Ian Brown” commented Morgan MacLeod of Cubicle Fugitive Inc. She went on to note “We and our client were very happy with the images that came from the shoot and are big fans of Ian and his work. We would like to sincerely congratulate him on this award and look forward to many more successful partnerships in the future.”

TGF now powered by Cubicle Fugitive

May 20, 2011

Long time client, Thornton Grout Finnigan, asked us to improve the law firm content management system that powers their website. We implemented a mixture of custom programming and off the shelf software to provide a very robust and scalable solution.

It includes lawyer profile management, document management and advanced page editing tools, basically everything a fast moving law firm like TGF needs to keep their site current and client focussed.

Against Our Better Judgment

Mar 17, 2011

Judgement or Judgment, that is the question. While working on the brand for new law firm, Butcher Litigation, we learned that not all Judgements are created equal and, in fact, some are actually Judgments (no "e"). Quirky as it looks to us, the brand execution itself, allows the art direction to be classic, professional or modern. As a colour scheme, we chose black and white, which is a testament to the firm’s ability to provide an affordable, succinct service.  We worked closely with the firm to create a new look across their business collateral including letterhead, business cards, electronic files, and search engine friendly website with legal specific content management system.

All in all, we think it all came together quite nicely, but, at the end of the day, who are we to judg?

Newvember Launches

Nov 26, 2010

Yes we know how to spell November, but we were going for a clever play on "new" and "November" to highlight that we have a bunch of new launches this November. In no particular order (except date of launch), they are:

Agro Zaffiro. Your Needs. One Firm.

Oct 01, 2010

We are proud to announe the launch of our latest rebranding project, Agro Zaffiro. Agro Zaffiro tasked Cubicle Fugitive with helping them develop a brand image that was indicative of the wide range of high quality legal services they offered to clients. After establishing the slogan "Your Needs. One Firm." to encapsulate the full service nature of the firm, we then developed a strong, iconic logo and word mark that establishes Agro as a leader in their field and a place to turn to for all a client's legal needs.

A Whole Association of Lawyers

Aug 27, 2010

For our next trick, we were lucky enough to provide our professional services marketing to the Hamilton Law Association (which, for those counting, boasts over 700 lawyers and is a veritable who's who of lawyers and law firms in the Hamilton area). We helped the HLA redevelop an existing design to be more user-, administrative- and search engine-friendly and implemented a legal specific content management system, all of which ensures the association's members--and clients seeking these lawyers--are always presented with useful and relevant information.

It's Health Care Month

Jun 30, 2010

First it was McMaster Week, now maybe it's health care month. We just recently completed a small design for Toronto-based family physician, Dr. Dosaj, who is dedicated to the health and well-being of her patients and who is particularly interested in preventative medicine and women's health issues. With this health care website, we chose to keep the design minimalist with a focus on Dr. Dosaj's achievements and experience.

It's McMaster Week

Jun 06, 2010

Hot off the heels of our recent launch of the new Program in Policy Decision-Making website, we're pleased to announce our work with another McMaster University department on their McMaster Health Forum website. We helped them standardize their site with templates, added additional user functionality, integrated a powerful enewsletter module for easy communication with important stakeholders, researcher and other community members. Oh yeah, we also designed the user interface for a project called Health Systems Evidence which is a continuously updated repository of syntheses of research evidence about governance, financial and delivery arrangements within health systems, and about implementation strategies that can support change in health systems (say that 10 times fast).
